Data collection
Burnline does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data. There is no Burnline account, analytics SDK, advertising SDK, telemetry service, or cloud sync.
Local usage data
After you choose a folder, Burnline reads supported Claude Code and Codex usage metadata in place and reduces it to aggregate token counts in a local on-device index. Raw JSONL, source paths, model names, prompt text, response text, and transcript content are not stored in that index.
The aggregate index, import cursors, folder bookmark, trial start date, and app preferences remain on your Mac. You can remove Burnline's access and local data by removing the app and its local container.
Purchases
Burnline uses Apple's StoreKit to display products, process purchases, restore purchases, and verify entitlement status. Apple processes purchase and payment information under Apple's own privacy policy. Burnline does not receive or store payment card details.
Third parties
Burnline does not send local usage data to Claude, Codex, Anthropic, OpenAI, or any other third party. StoreKit communication with Apple is limited to product and purchase handling.
Changes
If Burnline's data practices change, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before the changed version is released.
Contact
Privacy questions can be submitted through the support contact listed on Burnline's Mac App Store product page.
